You will also have to get an ignition interlock device installed in your vehicle. The time you are required to have the ignition interlock is dependent on the level of DUI you were found guilty. If you do not receive high fails or have any problem with your ignition interlock you may qualify to have it removed early. Traffic survival school is going to be another requirement that you will have to fulfill when you receive a DUI. You are required to attend traffic school anytime you receive between eight and 12 points on your driver’s license. A DUI is an eight point violation.
